This is one of two Serial Toggles from a repair shop.
As with Serial Toggle 2906, the first image will be of what I received as I received it.

I first tried just reassembling it and found that there was something "sticking" somewhere. The head assembly needed to be taken apart and the issue whatever it was sorted out. (It turned out to have two issues - but I only found that out later)

Once it was in pieces, I found that the center bar was bent and this prevented the razor from been reassembled.
After some careful (actually very careful) bending, I got everything straight. Visually everything looked fine, but I also knew that I would do any final tweaks once I finally assembled it.

When I started assembling I also found that the one side bar was slightly out of alignment, which I may or may not have caused with the previous bending. It was not affecting the working of the razor but "didn't look right" and I decided to fix it as well and at the same time I straightened a tab on one of the doors.

All ready to put back together - Or so I thought......... I then found the second issue.
The little pin that holds the Toggle itself in place was too loose and didn't even hold itself in place.

Turning the pin is a very simple turning job, but takes a bit of time.
I found out that the hole in the toggle and the bar are also two different sizes, so there needs to be a small step in the pin.
The left picture above is the bar still in the lathe and the right one shows the original pin at the top with the new pin underneath.

Finally all together, working like it should and the finishing touch - some fresh paint in the numbers and markers. (The red markers were fine)
Serial Toggle 1716 back in service.

It's a pretty mild shaver. Again, I think that mine is more aggressive. I have this one for a short while, while I have the other to fix, so may get in a "shave-off" before it leaves me.
