The Aluminium Sailor was first announced on Instagram 0n 12 April 2026 with delivery the end of July.
I ordered one a day or two later, so this is one of the Pre-order batch and is number 16.

The machining on it is awesome however I'm not sure how hardy the aluminium will be, so it's going to be used sparingly.

How does it shave?
The weight difference is immediately noticeable. It shaves like I would expect a Rocnel to shave - very well. I couldn't tell any difference in the final result between it and the 2023 Hybrid model.
I'm happy that I bought it, however I do prefer razors with a bit of weight and this is slightly too light for me.
